About Us
In A Pickle Farm Sanctuary works to rescue, rehabilitate and care for animals who are sick, injured, maltreated, malnourished, vulnerable or subject to any other factors detrimental to the advancement of animal welfare.
Saving one animal won’t change the world.
But for that animal, the world will change forever.
The Founder
OK, so Pickle didn’t technically found In A Pickle Farm Sanctuary. But we are named after her – and for good reason.
Born profoundly blind and profoundly deaf, she was given just 2 years to live. It’s a diagnosis that could cause many to turn their back on her but that’s not how we do things. Instead she was rescued to live out her days being pampered, loved and getting plenty of treats. Now, she’s 13 years young and a source of joy to all who meet her.
It is this same happiness we hope to bring to all the animals that come to our sanctuary. We provide a place for them to retire, play and have fun whilst safe from harm and able to receive any vet treatment they might need.
We provide shelter for over 100 unique, quirky and absolutely hilarious animals. All with their own story to tell. You can join in our mission with small gestures to big ones. Even just sharing our story will make a big difference to all our animals.
– Nat, Abi and all the furry, fleeced and feathered family members
