Nero, Curly Wurly, Geoffrey and Samson

There are currently 4 alpacas at the Sanctuary: Nero, Curly Wurly, Geoffrey and Samson. Ranging in age from 9 to 16 years-old, they have established their own hierarchy and can be found grazing the fields with the sheep.

Geoffrey loves everything. In particular, the neighbour’s horses.

Nero has adoration for one thing in particular…food.

Curly Wurly is top alpaca but never really asserts himself as he’s quite laid back.

Samson is the youngest, though he can be a bit over-familiar and is partial to a human ponytail or bun to pull on. If he’s in a good mood you can ask him for a kiss and he’ll happily plant his fuzzy nose on you.
