Over the Rainbow

Inevitably, we have had our share of heartbreak here at the sanctuary. Sometimes we simply cannot bring animals back from the condition they arrive in, or they deteriorate to the point we can no longer provide an acceptable quality of life. There are also those who reach the end of their natural lifespan having lived out their years here.

Each and every one of the animals that are no longer with us have been a big part of life here on the farm and we miss them very much. They leave us a legacy and remind us why we continue to provide sanctuary for other animals in need and promote good practice and welfare to the general public.

We help them to tell their story and hope that people learn something along the way.
